International Network for Social Network Analysis

INSNA is the professional association for researchers interested in social network analysis. The association is a non-profit organization incorporated in the state of Delaware. Founded by Barry Wellman in 1978, the current president is Bill Richards, School of Communication, Simon Fraser University, Burnaby, BC, Canada V5A 1S6. The principal functions of INSNA are as follows:

Becoming a Member

To join INSNA, click here. You can pay the membership fee by Visa or Mastercard (and European equivalents) on the web via secure encripted server. American Express is not accepted. You can also pay by check. All checks should be drawn on US bank and made payable to "SFU-INSNA" in US dollars. Instructions for where to send the check are on the subscription form.

Memberships are for calendar years, and include a subscription to all issues of Connections for that year (including issues already out). In addition to receiving Connections, members have access to the electronic services maintained by INSNA and receive announcements and registration forms for upcoming meetings.

You can also subscribe to Social Networks on the INSNA membership form.

Students may join for a reduced rate of $35 a year.
