CALL FOR CONTRIBUTIONS

You are cordially invited to submit a paper or extended abstract to CompleNet Live 2021, the Online Conference on Complex Networks, to be held online on 24-26 May, 2021.

CompleNet Live is an online conference on complex networks that brings together researchers and practitioners from diverse disciplines—from sociology, biology, physics, and computer science—who share a passion to better understand the interdependencies within and across systems. CompleNet is a venue to discuss ideas and findings about all types networks, from biological, to technological, to informational and social. It is this interdisciplinary nature of complex networks that CompleNet aims to explore and celebrate.

We encourage you to submit a paper or extended abstract to the CompleNet Live 2021 online conference. All oral presentations will take place in the same virtual room, offering heightened exposure and integration across topics and expertise.

Authors are encouraged to submit their contributions on their research in complex networks. Both theoretical and applied contributions are of interest. Specific topics of interest are (but not limited to):

Applications of Network Science
Human Behaviour & Social Influence
Community Structure
Complex Networks and Mobility
Biological Systems
Dynamics on and of Networks
Ecological Networks
Urban Systems and Networks
Networks in Politics
Network Topology and Geometry
Infrastructure Networks (Power grids, water systems, etc.)
Impact Performance and Success Prediction
Social Media
Social Networks
Disease Spread in Populations and Social Networks
Algorithms
Network Metrics
Brain Networks
Multiplex and Temporal Networks
Network Controllability and Resilience
Science of Science
Networked Medicine
Network Visualisation

TYPES OF CONTRIBUTIONS

CompleNet accepts new contributions in the form of papers (not previously published) and extended abstracts (about to be published or unpublished research). Each submission will undergo blind review by at least two referees on the Scientific Committee. Full papers will be peer reviewed and, if accepted, included in the Proceedings of the conference edited by Springer Verlag.

All accepted contributions will be invited to be presented on the online conference. If you prefer to send your submission directly as a poster, you will be able to do so in the EasyChair submission process.

After the conference, selected works may have the opportunity to submit their papers to many special issues at the Applied Network Science Journal (Springer), Complexity Journal (Hindawi), PLoS One, Complex Networks (Oxford), and others.
