Introduction to Social Network Analysis - Remote Seminar

Statistical Horizons will host Introduction to Social Network Analysis on November 11-13. Taught remotely by John Skvoretz, this seminar offers a thorough introduction to methods for describing, quantifying, and analyzing properties of social networks.
The course uses network analysis packages for the R environment. Topics covered include:
  • Data collection
  • Network analysis packages
  • Node level variables
  • Group level variables
  • Ties, links, and edges
  • Network hypotheses and methods for evaluating them
You can join live on Zoom from 10am-2pm ET (New York time) each day, or learn asynchronously by viewing the recorded videos of each session. Hands-on lab sessions will be held Thursday and Friday from 4-5pm EDT.
