2026 Student Travel Awards

INSNA is now accepting applications for Student Travel Awards! Applications are due by Friday, May 1

     

Eligibility Requirements

  • Applicants must be INSNA students members who are graduate students
  • Applicants must be presenting authors of abstracts that have been accepted for an oral or poster presentation at the 2026 Sunbelt Conference in Daytona Beach, FL

Non-INSNA members will not be considered.

       

Application Process

  • Applications are due by Friday, May 1. You will be asked to provide your name, the title of your conference abstract, and the following documents:
    • Your academic vitae, which must include: your current position and institution, your current country of residence, and any active research or travel grants
    • statement of need, which must include a description of other financial support you have for the conference. If none, describe other financial support that you have sought or an explanation about why such opportunities for support are not available to you.

Applications submitted after May 1 will not be considered.

     

Decisions

  • Award decisions will be made based on the submitted applications, including budgets and CVs, given the availability of funds.
  • INSNA expects to be able to fund at least twenty (20) student members with awards in the amount of $500.00 USD.
  • Priority will be given to graduate student members who have not previously received a Sunbelt travel award, who are the presenting authors of their oral presentations or posters, and who have demonstrated need for the funds in order to attend Sunbelt.
  • Note: The award does not include a registration fee waiver. Awards will be received within two (2) weeks of confirmed in-person participation in the conference.
  • Applicants will be informed about 2026 Student Travel Award decisions by June 1.
